Elżbieta Dąbrowska gained her first music experience at an early age. In 1991, she started singing in a children choir „Skowronki” and continued for eight years. She learnt to play the guitar at T. Szeligowski Primary School of Music in Lublin.

At the age of 13, she began learning to play the harp at K. Lipiński Primary and Secondary School of Music in Lublin under the supervision of Elżbieta Janikowska MA. In 2007, she graduated from the Academy of Music in Cracow in the class of harp under the guidance of Professor Bogumiła Lutak-Modrinić.

Elżbieta Dąbrowska has attended many courses and master classes run by distinguished harpists and teachers:
– In 1998-2006, she participated four times in International Harp Music Interpretation Master Courses held in Warsaw and tutored by Professor Elżbieta M. Szmyt (Bloomington, Nashville) and Professor Susan McDonald from Bloomington (USA).
– In 2002, she took a Jazz Course from jazz harpist Park Stickney organised under the Warsaw Harp Festival.
– In 2004, she attended master classes given by eminent French harpist Isabelle Perrin.
– In 2006, she participated in a workshop led by Professor Isabelle Moretti (Conservatoire Superieur de Paris – France) and  Professor David Watkins (Great Britain) during the First International Harp Festival in Katowice.
– In 2008, she took part in a workshop „Arrangement of South American, jazz, and popular music for harp” conducted by Ricardo Medeiros (Brazil) at the Second International Harp Festival in Katowice.
– In 2009, she was a participant of a workshop „Practical application of jazz harp technique in arrangements of selected classical music works” led by Alina Bzhezhinska from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

In 2005, she graduated from a two-year Pedagogical Study at the Academy of Music in Cracow and gained experience during pedagogy practice at the F. Chopin Public Secondary School of Music in Cracow.

Elżbieta Dąbrowska played in the orchestras of the Academy of Music in Cracow, Sinfonia Iuventus, as well as Warsaw, Świętokrzyska, Częstochowa, Silesian, Wrocław, Zamość, and Lublin Philharmonic Orchestras conducted by Urszula Bobryk, Jan Jakub Bokun, Cheung Chau, Tomasz Chmiel, Sławomir Chrzanowski, Wojciech Czepiel, Krzesimir Dębski, Constantin Adrian Grigore, Peter Gülke, Jan Jazownik, Jacek Kaspszyk, Adam Klocek, Taras Krysa, Tilo Lehmann, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Marek Pijarowski, Janusz Powolny, Roman Rewakowicz, Wojciech Rodek, Jacek Rogala, Piotr Rubik, Doron Salomon, Jerzy Salwarowski, Volker Schmidt-Gertenbach, Carlos Spierer, Jerzy Swoboda, Didier Talpain, Jan Walczyński, Aleksander Walker, Stanisław Welanyk, Tadeusz Wicherek, Piotr Wijatkowski, and Tadeusz Wojciechowski at concerts and festivals in Poland and abroad.

In 2006, she played in the orchestra conducted by Piotr Pałka at the Youth Meeting with Holy Father Benedict XVI in Cracow commons.

The harpist toured Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and China with Marek Tracz Polish Opera Orchestra conducted by Marzena Diakun and Wojciech Rodek (2008, 2009, 2010).

During the 15th Anniversary Gala of the Rivendell orchestra in 2008, she performed as a soloist with the Wrocław Youth Orchestra conducted by Marzena Diakun.

In addition playing with orchestras, Elżbieta Dąbrowska performs with chamber ensembles and solo. In May 2013, together with the Cum Sanctis orchestra she played Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf’s Concerto in A major for harp and orchestra conducted by Barbara Pazur.

Harpist is a passionate co-founder of chamber ensembles. In 2008-2012, together with Agnieszka Tyrawska-Kopeć, she created a flute-harp ensemble Duo Sérénité. In 2009, they recorded an album „Duo Sérénité” and participated in recording of „benedictimus te…” together with the Academic Choir of the Technical University of Lublin. Elżbieta performed with cellist Iwona Godzik-Ćwiek, violinists Dominika Kołszut and Agata Mrówczyńska, bassoonist Marek Moczulski and soprano Michalina Siedlecka.

In 2006-2013, Elżbieta Dąbrowska was employed in the orchestra of the Music Theatre in Lublin.

Currently, she lives and plays in Norway near Stavanger in the region of Rogaland.

In April 2014, Elżbieta with wind orchestra Stavanger Musikkorps av 1919 participated in national competition in Trondheim earning third place.

In Norway, harpist cooperates with flutist Sofya Dudaeva. They prepare repertoire and play concerts creating the Duo Turquoise.
